FATHER OF OUR NATION

               NELSON MANDELA
       18 JULY 1918 - 05 DECEMBER 2013
         HUMBA KAHLE TATA MADIBA
It's a sad day for people all around the world. We have lost a father a friend and a hero. My condolences go out to the Mandela family and I say thank you for your sacrifices that you made, thank you for never giving up on him, cause that caused him not to give up on our nation. President Jacob Zuma said " All the things that made him great, also made him human." he had a heart of Gold.
The 1st president of our democratic South Africa, a man that fought for freedom for all regardless of their race. Mandela once said “I HAVE fought against white domination, and I have fought against black domination. I have cherished the ideal of a democratic and free society in which all persons will live together in harmony with equal opportunities. It is an ideal which I hope to live for, and to see realised. But my Lord, if needs be, it is an ideal for which I am prepared to die.”- Defence statement during the Rivonia Trial, 1964. A wise man, a martyr living his life according to UBUNTU. Tata you were a man that was tortured, isolated for what you believed in, you were prepared to die for us all. If we could follow your lead and search for your qualities inside ourselves, we could continue your  legacy and make this country what you dreamed it to be. The bravest man ever known, Tata we will miss you dearly and I know that your memory will love on.
You were unselfish and gave up your life for your country. A man whose name will be written in history.
We love you Tata MANDELA may you R.I.P. And we'll find peace in knowing that an angel like you walked on this earth and went home peacefully.
“No one is born hating another person because of the colour of his skin, or his background, or his religion. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite.” – Long Walk to Freedom.
"death is something inevitable. When a man has done what he considers to be his duty to his people and his country, he can rest in peace. I believe I have made that effort and that is, therefore, why I will sleep for the eternity.” – From an interview for the documentary Mandela.
VIVA TATA MADIBA VIVA......
Nkosi sekelel' iAfrica
You will live on in our hearts and in the hearts of all the generations after
Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela. A true leader to our nation and the world.

A demon called drug abuse (part 2.)

Its so infuriating to see so many people you love falling victim to this disease. Sometimes it's so bad that you just give up on helping them. I know what that's like. Many of my dear friends has fallen victim to this, the worst thing about it is they are in denial.

Its like having a split personality, the one moment they fine, normal, laughing and smiling, then the next minute they restless looking for a way to get their next fix. Not caring who they hurt or what they do. its like being possessed, they try so many tactics, lying all the time , minipulating those closest to them. putting others on guilt trips and blaming the whole world except themselves.
No,  I am not a recovering drug addict. But I was a bystander more than once and its painful to see the people you love devour themselves like that.
they'll say " you don't know how hard it is to stay sober, you not doing it!" well i do know how it is to put up with it and I think thats even harder.

Look at the mother who killed her son because of his addiction a few years ago. Nobody knew what trauma she had to go through everyday,This is only opinion, Imagine your son coming in one day and forcing himself on you, its disturbing right! Or your addicted child Stealing everything you have worked so hard for through the years, till you have absolutely
nothing left. Its heartbreaking really.

There are those that wants out of this hell but has no idea how to go about it. I wonder their would ever come a day when this epidemic was just a nightmare, where these things dont exist.
If you know someone or you yourself needs help, this is the directory to most of the rehab centres in South Africa.

A demon called drug abuse

In South Africa alone statistics show that 1 out of 5 people are addicted to a drug and 1 out of 3 teens has administered atleast once. Its a frightening fact that this country is losing war against drugs, infact most crimes are drug related , I think its safe to say that our country is on tje road to destruction unless someone can come up with a full proof plan to destroy this epidemic before it destroys us.

What is drug abuse? Well, let me define it; It is the self- administration of any narcotics, sedatives, stimulants, hallucinogens and similar substances to the point they cannot function without it, so they become a danger to themselves and society. Research shows that there are many causes for the abuse of drugs which includes; peer pressure (the need to fit in with the crowd) ,feelings of rebellion, boredom or emotional problems such as anxiety and deppression.

Teens tend to use to experience "highs" or "kicks" as it is called, to be accepted in their groups and also curiosity. They also use to lessen the impulses that begins at teenage years and we all know how much we think as teens, the trust issues that most teens have. Adults tend to use to relieve the stress of everyday life, relieve the sense of personal failure and frustration. It affects all kinds of people and because it is illegal, it is very difficult to establish the amount of drugs circling our societies. All that is known is the supply is becoming more and more plentiful.

Did you know that approximately 90% of people worldwide have tried marijuana (dagga, dope) atleast once in thier lives?

In South Africa , the most used drugs are marijuana, i ( crystal meth, tik) , mandrax ( mixed with dagga), wunga ( a mixture of anti retro virals and heroine).

Some drugs such as amphetamines and cocaine, stimulate the central nervous system ; others, such as the narcotics and barbiturates depress the action of the brain, increasingly larger amounts must be taken to achieve the same effect, which is called tolerance, after using drugs increasingly the body becomes dependant physically and psychologically, it becomes a necessity for its emotional effect. It becomes an incurable disease that affects not only the abuser but their surroundings aswell. Yes I said incurable,  many people learn how to manage this disease and the cravings but temptation could come at any time.

I take my hat off to those who found the strength to resist temptation and change their lives, cause it is not an easy task.
Just remember if you are an addict or know someone who is , if you or they want help, their are places that can help you.

Our society is being abolished by this demon,Everyday I see youngsters, even adults that are addicted and its a real tragedy. Is this a losing battle, Or is there hope?

Things happen

There are so many things that we go through everyday. We may think that we different but we are not.

No matter what colour, race, religion or even financial status, we are all human. Our lives are filled with obstacles that we face, some of us are strong enough to go through it and some are not.

Do you know anyone that tried to commit suicide or did? Do you know anyone that turns to substances to hide their pain even those who cut themselves to numb it? We as people should not go around judging but actually try and help. Sometimes life throws fireballs at us but it should just make us stronger.

There is so many people especially teenagers that is uncomfortable with their lives for one or other reason. Why should we not fit in? Why should we feel like we are not good enough? God created us as equals the only differences is our gifts. You may have the gift of singing, poetry, drawing or even healing ,etc. We all are great at something which means that we all have the potential to be human.

I may be going around in circles here but my message is that each and every one of us has the right to live and not be ashamed of who or what we are, no one has the right to point fingers at eachother 'cause we are all human and we have to treat eachother as such.

Make a difference and start caring for one another. If we all just did that, there would be less self torture in this world.

Know this, everyone has the potential to live a happy and successful life, not one is perfect, so don't you dare look down on yourself as if you are nothing, you are amazing just the way you are.
Don't give up on yourself ever!

MONSTERS IN DISGUISE

My parents always said that monsters don't exist.Do you believe there's monsters? 'cause I do.

they watch children while they sleeping or while they playing in the park.Follow our children to school and even teach them. They attack and hurt our elders that are to weak to fight back.

Monsters kidnap humans ,uses us as sex slaves to sell off to the highest bidders. They rape our children and adults whenever they get a chance, even brutally murder us just for fun.

Monsters get pregnant, dump their babies and leave them for dead. They kill their spouses because of jealousy or greed.

We are living in a world of nightmares that we cannot just wake up from. There's nowhere to hide and there's no escape. Some of us can go our whole lives not falling victim to them, then theres others that are not so fortunate.

The scariest about it is the horrific fact that it could be your teacher, doctor, your closest friend, your spouse, brother, your sister etc. To put it frankly "ANYONE".Monsters are disguised as us,they talk like us, they walk like us,eat like us and even sleep like us.The only difference between Monsters and humans are that we have a conscience and a heart and monsters don't . So be cautious!

The population of monsters are rising rapidly,we don't know why they materialize. Why do humans transmute to monsters and choose to live in darkness? They need help to transform into human again and to see the light.
I truly believe there is hope for some.
